Implant Supported Bridge

Implant supported bridge

With their natural appearance and the functional stability offered by implants, implant-supported bridges provide an effective solution for replacing multiple missing teeth. Unlike traditional bridges that rely on adjacent natural teeth for support, an implant-supported bridge is secured to two or more dental implants.

When a bridge is attached to natural teeth, these teeth must undergo preparation (shaving down) for crowns. Subsequently, the natural teeth bear increased stress once the bridge is in place, potentially leading to damage, especially if the existing tooth, roots, or surrounding bone structure are compromised.
